Ozone day was celebrated in Department of Botany in MBGPG Haldwani on 16th September 2023.
Over 55 postgraduate students of Botany participated in the activities. They presented their views to protect the Ozone layer, and how to create awareness among general public about its impacts.
The programme was organised by Dr. Nirmala Pargaien; under guidance of Prof. Neeta Pande, Head of Botany, with active help from Prof. Asha Tiwari, Dr Sanjay Kumar and Dr. Hemlata Danu of Botany department.
Prof. Mahesh Kumar Head of Zoology and Prof. Kamla Pant Head of Sanskrit presided over the occasion and distributed prizes to students for achievements over the year in various activities organised by the Botany department. They blessed the students to continue excelling in future.
The programme was concluded by vote of thanks from Prof Neeta Pande.
