An expert talk was held in the department of Zoology on Nanotechnology. The expert invited, Dr. Ramesh Singh has done his Ph. D from Sagar University, and will now be pursuing his Post Doctoral Fellowship from Colorado university, USA. The talk attended by around 30 Postgraduate students from Zoology and Botany, delved into the use of the nanotechnology in targeted drug delivery in amelioration of cancer, to fighting multi-drug resistant bacteria, and else. The talk by Dr. Ramesh was very lucid, effective, and was amply appreciated by the students. The talk was organised very ably by Dr. Bipin Pathak, and duly attended by rest of thd teaching faculty- Dr. Mahesh Kumar (HoD), Dr. Poonam Tripathi, and Dr. C S Negi.
