ESTABLISHMENT OF BOTANY DEPARTMENT

Department of Botany came into existence with the vision conduct innovative research, teaching and outreach on the pattern and process of life with a focus on plants and their environment.

PG - 1990

Semester system in PG course was introduced in 2011 and in UG it was commenced in 2016.

FACULTY PROFILE

The Deptt. of Botany was established in 1970. seven post’s are secnction but at present seven are occpied. All the faculty members well qualified and Ph.D holders and are persuing different academic works pertainning to teaching and research.
