Q. What is required to initiate admission?

A. Enrolment Number with “KU as prefix”. For example Enrolment No is 123456789 then students should use KU123456789 and roll No.

Q. What if I don’t have enrolment Number (other than fresh admission)?

A. First you should apply for enrolment number to Kumaun University and if migrated from other university, get migration certificate from that university and send it to Kumaun University. Meanwhile we are working on providing you alternate way to register using your roll number and don’t worry you are a minority (only 1-2% who don’t have enrolment).

Q. What should be the format for uploading documents and size of the documents.

A. Documents should be in .jpeg format. Our system will reduce the size automatically however ideally your file size should be less than 1 MB per file. Take colour photographs and not black & white.

Q. When is my admission completed?

A. Once you fill form, upload documents, photo, & signature wherever applicable, then pay fee (for UG (BA/B.Com/B. Sc ) 2nd year & 5th Sem, using payment gateway. Without fee payment your admission is not completed.

Q. When is my admission completed if I am a fresher (seeking admission in 1st year UG-BA/B.Com/B. Sc & PG:MA/M.Com/M. Sc  1st year.

A. Check merit list, if your name is there in the list, if yes, fill form, else wait for subsequent lists (if seats remain vacant)

Q. My name is in merit list, what should I do to complete admission if I am a fresher (seeking admission in 1st year UG-BA/B.Com/B. Sc & PG:MA/M.Com/M. Sc  1st year.

A. Use your registration number (remember you applied on Kumaun University website and you got a registration number) and phone number to fill your form, upload documents (10th, 12th Marksheets, UG marksheets, caste certificate, income certificate, weightage proof etc). After this committee will verify your documents and then you will get a message, deposit your fee Bingo! your admission is done.

Q. What if I filled the form and didn’t pay fee then? What should I do?

A. Use this link https://online.mbgpgcollege.ac.in/FeeSearch.aspx . Use your registered Phone No. and retrieve your application, now can pay your fee.

Q. How do I pay my fee? Do I have to go to bank with a challan?

A. Pay online using Credit Card, Debit Card/ ATM, Netbanking, IMPS, UPI, Payment wallets etc. NO need to stand in bank line, pay fee at your own convenience.

Q. My payment got declined?

A. This is mostly due to internet speed and connectivity in your area, tryafter some time once more.  As per RBI guidelines, bank will deactivate the cards which are never being used by customers for online transactions. Also, new card issued will be default disabled by bank and cardholders need to contact their bank for activating the card for all payment mode of transactions.

Q. Do I need to worry if money debited from my account and admission not completed?

A. Do not panic, your money will be either refunded or manually transferred to college account.

Q. When and where will I get my I Card.

A. Once admission are over, I Cards will be printed and handed over to the departments. Information will be provided separately.

Q. Do I have to come to college this year (During Covid-19 times) for admissions

A. This year you “should not come to college for admission”. Our process is totally paperless.
